Cool! I can't live without my piano so I know how you're feeling right now.

Cool! I can't live without my piano so I know how you're feeling right now. He just finished...it was rather flat even though it has been humid—cumulative effects of previous dryness. Sounds amazing.

I have 37 that never need tuning I would love one that does though! It must be great to have it back in perfect tune, and I can appreciate the wait for it to happen. It takes me an hour to tune my 66 string dulcimer in changeable weather.

On Sunday, I drive to the ferry and leave for the Summer Piano Academy at the University of Victoria. 2 weeks of pianistic bliss - repertoire classes, technique classes, private lessons, a class that compares how different artists interpret the music, concerts and more. Whoo hoo! I can't wait!

I just wrapped up the first satisfying practice session in over a month...nothing like a fresh tuned Steinway for motivation.

Damon you mean the fugue? No that wasn't as bad to learn as I thought. But there's a passage with crazy leaps, comes back at the recap in a different key .. Argh! At least I got the first one clean, but the second..... I sound like I'm playing ligeti!

Angelina- Yes, I was talking about the fugue. I suppose you are talking about the spot right before the presto near the end. I didn't think it would have been harder than the first one, but I never made it past the fugue, so what do I know?

I got my computer back well ahead of schedule, and all seems well. I now have a functioning ODD. Very happy with my experience at this Apple Store.

Good deal! There's nothing more frustrating than being computerless. (By the way, I have no idea what ODD means. Sounds like a disorder of some kind!)

Yup...it's one of those things that you don't use a whole lot, but you miss it when it is broken.
