I'll be computer-less for a few days starting tomorrow. So I won't be around. No internet, jeez. Never mind us, how will you cope? .

Never liked that cathedral - it's a reproduction! Yeah, but how many cathedrals contain a parish church?

By the way what do you think of Evensong at Chichester? You know I have visited Chichester Cathedral twice, but have never been to a service there. For a long time the organ was offline for a rebuild, but I think the project is complete. Lots of obvious drug use in Chichester, even within the cathedral precinct!

Why can I not sleep? Ergh...stayed up wayyyy too late last night. What were you doing, my friend? Computer games? Or were you working your way through all of Vivaldi's concertos?

You mean the one concerto repeated 499 times right? 499? Blimey, you've heard more Vivaldi concertos than I have.

I read online today that there is a heat advisory for 18 states. That's got to include several people here. How are we holding up? Currently 73F here...

I think it's been under 90 degrees twice in the last two months here.

At night it drops into the 80's but I'm in the AC by then and don't care. Note to Argerichfan: We run our AC constantly in the states because we are fond of using 25% of the world's resources. Please do your part now that you're here. ;D

Please do your part now that you're here. ;D Well it seems that China has surpassed the US in energy consumption. And of course this is just the beginning, as China is still basically a 'developing' country. I'm constantly amazed at the sense of 'entitlement' Americans have. Why that should be is not entirely clear. (Well actually it is, but after all, I'm one of them liberals, so we're obviously not going to agree. )

It really has nothing to do with a sense of entitlement. I work, make money, and air conditioning is an expense I gladly accept.
